I am gorgeous® was created by celebrity hairstylist and entrepreneur George Gonzalez, owner of destination salon and spa George the Salon, located in Chicago’s glittering Gold Coast.
George was a stylist for Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios before launching his own company with the mission of bringing out the beauty within all women.
Since opening in 2008, George the Salon has received numerous industry accolades, including being honored as one of one of ELLE's Top 100 Salons in America, “Best Haircut in Chicago” by InStyle, and Refinery 29's Pick for "Killer Cuts" in Chicago and George a "Hair Guru Who Could Change Your Life."
